2.  Can I participate in the Spot Round if I already got a seat in JoSAA or CSAB?

Ans: No, if you have already been allotted and have accepted a seat through JoSAA or CSAB and completed admission formalities, you are not eligible to participate in the Spot Round.

3. Is choice filling required for the Spot Round?

Ans: Yes, candidates must do fresh choice filling after registration. Fill all your preferred branches and institutes carefully.

4. Can I withdraw after the seat is allotted in the Spot Round?

Ans: No. Once a seat is allotted in the Spot Round, you cannot withdraw, and no refund will be issued if you don’t report.

CSAB Special Round 2025

CSAB Special Round 2025 is conducted to fill vacant seats in NITs, IIITs, IIEST, and GFTIs that remain unfilled after the completion of all JoSAA counselling rounds. It provides a final opportunity for eligible JEE Main 2025 candidates to secure admission in top technical institutes.

1. Who is eligible to take part in the CSAB Special Round 2025?

Ans: Any candidate who appeared for JEE Main 2025 can apply for the CSAB Special Round, regardless of whether they registered for JoSAA counselling or not.

2. Is fresh registration required even if I already registered for JoSAA?

CSAB 2025 Vacant Seat Matrix

CSAB 2025 Vacant Seat Matrix will be released after the conclusion of all JoSAA rounds, displaying the total number of vacant seats available across participating institutes for Special and Spot Rounds. This matrix helps candidates make informed decisions during choice filling.

CSAB 2025 Rules & Regulations 

CSAB 2025 will conduct Special and Spot Rounds to fill seats left vacant after JoSAA counselling. Only JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates can apply, and fresh registration is mandatory even if you participated in JoSAA.

Candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹40,000 for GEN/OBC/EWS and ₹19,000 for SC/ST/PwD categories, which includes a non-refundable processing charge of ₹5,000.

You can fill unlimited choices, but they must be locked before the deadline. Seat allotment is based on rank, preferences, and category. After allotment, online reporting and document upload are mandatory.

If documents were already verified during JoSAA, re-verification is not needed. PwD candidates may require physical verification.

After final allotment, candidates must report to the allotted institute. Misuse of information or incomplete reporting may lead to cancellation. Legal disputes will fall under NIT Rourkela’s jurisdiction.

CSAB 2025 Reservation Policy

CSAB 2025 Reservation Policy follows the Government of India norms for seat allocation across NITs, IIITs, IIEST, and Other-GFTIs. The reservation is applicable only to Home State (HS) or All India (AI) quotas, depending on the institute and seat type.
