Documents Required for JEE Advanced 2025 Registration: While applying JEE Advanced 2025 Application Form, candidates have to upload every document in the JEE Advanced 2025 application form. The application asks candidates to scan a few documents for identification and verification. Certain documents are for all the candidates, while others are for the reservation-eligible candidates. Documents Required for the Application as per the guidelines are as follows,
Indian candidates need not upload the photo and signature since they will be selected from the database of JEE Main. Foreign nationals, however, will be required to upload a scanned photo & signature.
The candidates must ensure that they get all the documents required ready in a good scanned format as per the specifications for unproblematic registration. Along with this, the JEE Advanced eligibility form needs to be read carefully, and also, before applying, refer to the details brochure. Clauses are also present in the JEE Advanced prospectus, which the applicants need to go through before providing a run-through.
Foreign national applicants, including OCI/PIO (F) applicants, applying for JEE (Advanced) 2025 are required to submit the following documents:
Identity proof like a Citizenship Certificate, Foreign Passport, and/or OCI/PIO card, as the case may be.
Date of Birth Proof: Valid birth certificate or equivalent document.
Class 12 (or Equivalent) Certificate: Document of passing the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
Proof of JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria :
For criterion B1 Candidates should fulfill the requirement of birth on or after October 1, 2000 In case of nations with obligatory military service, relaxation in the number of years mentioned is given on submitting a certificate/testimonial issued by the administering body.
Criterion B2: The candidate may attempt JEE (Advanced) twice in two consecutive years.
Criterion B3: The candidate would have first attempted Class XII or an equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025 with Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics as mandatory subjects.
Criterion B4: The applicant should NOT have accepted IIT admission by reporting—either online or at a reporting center—under any academic program named in the JoSAA Business Rules of 2024—regardless of having followed the program.
Foreign national applicants shall be considered as a separate category and shall not be counted in the number of 2,50,000 Indian national applicants who are qualified for JEE (Advanced) 2025. Supernumerary seats for foreign nationals shall be limited to 10% of the available seats in a course. Candidates who apply through foreign nationality are not entitled to GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, or PwD category reservations. Neither is there a supernumerary seat nor a sub-category under foreign national quota for female candidates.
Indian nationals applying for JEE (Advanced) 2025 are required to upload the following documents during online application:
Class 10 Certificate or Birth Certificate: As evidence of date of birth.
Class 12 (or Equivalent) Certificate: Evidence of clearing Class 12 (or equivalent) exam.
Category Certificate (in case applicable):
GEN-EWS: Certificate released on or after April 1, 2025, in the given format.
OBC-NCL: Certificate released on or after April 1, 2025, in the given format.
SC/ST: Certificate in the specified format.
PwD Certificate (if applicable): Genuine certificate from a notified medical authority.
Dyslexia Certificate (if applicable): FORM-DYSLEXIC-1 and FORM-DYSLEXIC-2 both, with 'SEVERE' under dyslexia category.
Scribe Request Letter (if applicable): Applicants having 40% disability for whom a scribe is needed must produce the Scribe Request Letter (Amanuensis-I).
OCI/PIO Card (if relevant): Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) status holders need to upload a valid card that was issued prior to March 4, 2021.
Documents for Droput Candidates between November 5 and November 18, 2024:
A letter of recommendation from the Head of Institution (Dean/Principal/Director) in the given format.
Notarized affidavit on INR 10 non-judicial stamp paper (candidate's signature if 18 years and above; guardian/parent if less than 18 years).
A withdrawal letter by the concerned institute.
