JEE Advanced 2024 Guidelines : IIT Madras is going to conduct JEE Advanced 2024 exam on May 26, 2024 in two shifts. Candidates who have qualified JEE Main exam are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced exam. This exam offers admission to the IITs for undergraduate courses.
JEE Advanced 2024 exam will include two question papers i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours. Each paper will include three separate sections i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates have to appear for both papers Appearing candidates will have to report to the examination centre in advance and carry out the requisite formalities as per the admit card. The exam centre will open from 7 AM.Candidates must carry a printed copy of JEE Advanced 2024 Admit Card with a valid original photo identity card. Candidates can carry any one of the following: Aadhaar Card, school/college/institute ID, driving license, voter ID, passport, PAN card, and notarised certificate with a photograph for the examination. IIT representatives and invigilators will verify the identity of the candidates at the examination centre. If there is any doubt, the candidate may not be allowed to appear for the examination.
Any unfair means and/or impersonation during the examination will be considered a serious offence and can lead to the cancellation of exam of the examination for the candidate. It may also lead to legal action against the candidates. All candidates have to go through extensive and compulsory frisking before entering the exam centre. The authority will issue appropriate and comprehensive instructions to the staff and officials at the exam centres, including for the frisking of female candidates. Candidates are allowed to carry Only pens, pencils, drinking water in transparent bottle, downloaded admit card and an original photo identity card.
Candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the examination hall: watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands or any other electronic gadgets, any printed/blank/handwritten paper, log tables, writing pads, scales, eraser, geometry/pencil-boxes, pouches, calculators, pen drives, electronic pens/Scanner, wallets, handbags, camera, goggles or similar such items.
