- Do not wear digital watches, long shoes, coats, jackets, or anything that could be considered a security risk.
- Wear comfortable clothes and footwear.
- Leave electronic gadgets and study materials at home; they are not allowed in the examination hall.
- Bring a ballpoint pen and a transparent water bottle with you.
- Don't forget to carry your Admit Card with a recent photo attached and an original photo ID proof (such as Aadhar card, driver's license, passport, or voter identification card).
- Arrive at the test center at least an hour before the exam begins.

IPMAT 2024 Exam Dress Code for Male for Female
For the IPMAT 2024 exam, both male and female candidates are advised to adhere to the following dress code:- Male candidates should wear shirts, t-shirts, jeans, pants, or other similar clothing. They are discouraged from wearing sandos, long-sleeved shirts, or hoodies.
- Female candidates should wear tops, shirts, Kurtis, jeans, leggings, or other similar clothing. They are advised to avoid wearing clothes with multiple layers, large pockets, tube tops, sleepwear/pajamas, and long-sleeved tops.
What are the items that are not allowed in the IPMAT 2024 exam hall?
The following items are not allowed in the IPMAT 2024 exam hall:- Electronic devices: Mobile phones, smartwatches, and laptops are prohibited.
- Handbags and purses: These items are not permitted within the examination hall.
- Food items: Bringing food items inside the exam center is not allowed.
- Stationery: Pens, pencils, and paper are prohibited. Candidates are provided with a notepad and a working pen instead.
