Here are the steps to open and verify a certificate:

• Certificate Format: The received certificate is typically in PDF format, which requires Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 9 or higher) to open and validate the digital signature. Ensure you have the right software installed.
• Validation Process: To initiate the validation of the digital signature within the PDF certificate, use Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 9 or higher) on a computer or laptop connected to the internet.
• Initial Validation: If the digital signature isn't automatically verified upon opening the file, follow these steps:
• Right-Click Action: Right-click on the question mark icon associated with the digital signature within the document.
• Validate Signature: Click on "Validate signature" from the dropdown menu that appears after right-clicking.
• Signature Properties: Next, select "Signature properties" from the options presented.
• Certificate Validation: Choose "Validate certificate" within the Signature properties menu.
• Internet Connection: Ensure your computer or laptop has an unrestricted internet connection during this validation process.
• Validation Result: Once validated, the digital signature should display as "Signature valid" along with a green tick mark confirming its authenticity.
• Signature Properties Confirmation: For detailed signature properties, right-click on the signature again, select "Signature properties," and then click on "Show certificate."
• Review Signature Properties: This step provides a comprehensive view of the signature properties and its validation status.

JAIIB Passing Criteria

The criteria for a candidate to qualify for JAIIB certification include certain parameters regarding attempts and time allocation:

Attempts and Time Frame:

• Candidates should clear the JAIIB examination within four consecutive attempts over a span of two years.
• If unsuccessful, candidates must re-enroll to sit for the examination, with the previous attempt scores not considered.
• The two-year period available to qualify for the examination begins from the date of application for the first attempt to clear the JAIIB examination.
• Any absence during an attempt will also be counted as an attempt taken.

Marking Scheme:

• There are no negative markings for incorrect answers.
• To qualify, candidates need to achieve a minimum of 50% marks in each paper.
• Candidates scoring 45% marks in each paper and a total of 50% in aggregate in a single attempt will also qualify.

JAIIB Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for both JAIIB and CAIIB exams are as follows:

• Exclusively for Banking Professionals: Non-banker candidates are ineligible for the JAIIB exam.
• For Banking and Finance Employees: The JAIIB exam is specifically for individuals already employed in the banking and finance industry.
• Employer Membership: Candidates employers must be members of the Institute to fulfill the eligibility criteria for JAIIB.
• Educational Qualification: Applicants aiming for this certification must have passed the 10+2 exam in any discipline or its equivalent.

JAIIB Certificate Important Points

Candidates can download the e-certificate once the institute processes and digitally signs it, followed by an email notification. However, if there's any discrepancy in the processing, such as errors in the photo or signature, the certificate won’t be available for download.
