AILET 2025 Application (closed): According to the official notification, the National Law University, Delhi (NLUD) will conduct the AILET 2025 on December 8th, 2024, between 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The NLU Delhi started the AILET 2025 registration on August 1st, 2024, through the official website of the university. Candidates were required to apply online. The official notification, which was published on May 27, 2024, by NLU Delhi, provided details about the AILET 2025 exam date and application form dates. The last date for submitting the application form was November 18, 2024.

AILET 2025 Overview

The University of Delhi conducts the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admission to the BA LLB, LLM, and PhD programs. It is a national-level law entrance exam and is considered one of the most difficult entrance exams in India. The exam will be held in offline mode across the country. The AILET 2025 syllabus comprises three sections namely, logical reasoning, current affairs and general knowledge, and English. Every year around 20,000 candidates appear for the exam.

The application form for the AILET 2025 was available from 1st August 2024 on the official website of the National Law University, Delhi. Candidates interested in admission at NLUD must fill out the application form on or before 18th November 2024 through online mode.

How to fill out the AILET 2025 Application Form?

To fill out the application form candidates can follow the given steps.
  • Step 1: Refer to the official website of the National Law University, Delhi at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
  • Step 2: Click on the “Register To Apply” option.
  • Step 3: Enter your credentials such as your name, email address, date of birth, mobile number, contact address, etc.
  • Step 4 : Select the law course. You have to choose from BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD.
  • Step 5: Upload the necessary documents in the required format.
  • Step 6: After completing the application form, make the payment. You can pay the application fee either through online or offline mode.
  • Step 7: Submit the form and take a print for future reference.

How to Edit the AILET 2025 Application Form?

Candidates can visit the official website of the NLUD if they want to edit or update their application form. The following steps will help candidates to edit their application form.
  • Go to the official website of the NLUD at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
  • Click on the “Already Registered” option.
  • Enter your User ID and password to log in.
  • Select the “Edit Application” option.
  • Your application form opens on the screen. Make the required changes.
  • Cross-check your form and then click on the “submit” button.
  • Your form will be submitted along with the changes.

Important Documents Required for AILET 2025 Application Form

Candidates must read the instructions diligently before filling out the AILET 2025 application form. The applicants' details must be authentic and the uploaded documents should be in the specified format. NLUD will release AILET admit cards only to those candidates whose application forms are correctly filled. The important documents that are required to fill the AILET 2025 application form are mentioned below.
  • Mark sheet and certificate of Class 10th and 12th.
  • For LLM, mark sheet and certificate of graduation (if available).
  • Passport size photo with white background and size up to 1 MB. The format of the photograph should be .jpg/.jpeg.
  • Scanned signature up to 1 MB and in .jpg/.jpeg format.
  • If you belong to the below poverty line (BPL) category, you have to upload the BPL certificate with a maximum size up to 2 MB.
  • If you belong to Foreign National (FN) category, you have to upload your passport (maximum size - 2 MB).
  • Candidates' email address and active mobile number.
  • You need your character certificate which should not be less than 3 months old.
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Category certificate for SC/ST/OBC/J&K category candidates.
