CLAT 2025 counselling registration
(UG & PG) will close at 10 p.m. on December 20, 2024
. The Consortium of NLUs will release the CLAT 2025 First Merit List on December 26, 2024. CLAT 2025 result was announced on December 7, 2024, and the CLAT 2025 counselling registration began on December 9, 2024.
The Consortium announced the
CLAT 2025 counselling
registration dates through the official CLAT 2025 Notification. According to this notification, CLAT 2025 counselling will take place online. Only candidates whose names appear on the CLAT 2025 invite list will be eligible to participate in the CLAT 2025 counselling process.
The entire CLAT 2025 counselling process will be conducted online, with the official website being consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Shortlisted candidates will be required to decide whether to accept, revise, or withdraw from their seat allocation before the final date.
Candidates who accept their allotted seats or apply for seat upgrades must pay a confirmation fee to secure their seat. Based on previous years' trends, the CLAT 2025 admission process is expected to conclude after five rounds of counselling.

CLAT Counselling 2025 - Steps to Register
To register for the CLAT 2025 counselling round, follow these steps:
Click on the login link and enter your login details (username and password).
Proceed with the registration process for the counselling round.
Fill in the required details in the application form and pay the registration fee.
After completing the form, submit it and download the confirmation page.
Print a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
Please Note:
The registration fee for CLAT 2025 is Rs 30,000 for candidates in the general category. Candidates from the ST, SC, OBC, BC, EWS, and PWD categories need to pay Rs 20,000. The first seat allotment list will be released at 10 a.m. on December 26, 2024.
What After CLAT Counselling Registration 2025?
Once the CLAT 2025 counselling registration closes on December 20, 2024, at 10 PM IST, the next steps will follow the release of the first seat allotment list on December 26, 2024, at 10 AM IST. Candidates who are allotted a seat will be required to pay the confirmation fee between December 26, 2024, and January 4, 2025, if they choose either the freeze or float option.
During this period, the admissions process for the first allotment will take place. Following the first round, subsequent allotment lists will be released. After being allotted a seat, candidates will need to proceed with the following steps:
Step 1: Seat Acceptance/Upgrade/Exit
Accept the Seat:
If candidates are satisfied with their allotted NLU, they can confirm their choice, locking the seat. Once confirmed, they will not need to participate in future rounds of allotment.
Apply for Upgrade:
Candidates who wish to shift to a higher preference NLU can wait for the next allotment list and apply for an upgrade.
Exit the Counselling:
Candidates who no longer wish to participate in the counselling process can exit. They will not be considered for subsequent rounds of allotment.
Step 2: Completing Admission Formalities
Once a seat is accepted or upgraded, candidates must upload the necessary documents for verification on the official website. Additionally, they need to pay the remaining admission fee to confirm their seat at the allotted NLU.
