SLAT Counselling Dates 2026 (OUT): SLS Third Merit List (Awaited), SLS Admission Schedule

The SLAT 2026 admission process has concluded for SLS Pune, SLS Nagpur, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Noida. There are chances of the third merit list to be released by the end of May 2026, howeverr the dates have not been confirmed. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official websites of each SLS institute. The shortlisting in the merit list is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in the PI round and SLAT exam. Each SLS conducts its own PI Round. SLAT 2026 Counselling Process

The counselling process includes multiple stages that candidates must complete within the prescribed deadlines. Each Symbiosis Law School manages its own admission rounds separately. 

Step 1: Registration for SLAT Programme

Candidates must register for the desired Symbiosis Law School programme during the SLAT application process. Only applicants who complete programme registration will be eligible for counselling rounds. 

Step 2: Shortlisting for Personal Interaction (PI)

Based on SLAT scores, each law school releases a shortlist of candidates invited for the PI round. Shortlisted candidates must book their interview slots online within the given schedule. 

Step 3: Document Upload and Verification

Candidates need to upload required academic and identity documents before appearing for the PI process. Original documents may also be verified during admission formalities. 

Step 4: Personal Interaction (PI)

The PI round evaluates communication skills, legal awareness, analytical ability, academic background, and motivation for studying law. Interviews are generally conducted in online mode. 

Step 5: Merit List and Admission Confirmation

After the PI process, participating institutes release merit lists based on combined performance in SLAT and PI rounds. Selected candidates must pay admission fees within the deadline to secure their seats. 

SLAT 2026 Selection Criteria

The final admission process is based on a weighted evaluation system. The SLAT written examination and Personal Interaction both contribute to the final merit score.

Candidates participating in the counselling process should keep the following documents ready:

• SLAT 2026 Admit Card

• SLAT 2026 Scorecard

• Class 10 Marksheet and Certificate

• Class 12 Marksheet and Certificate

• Government-issued Photo ID Proof

• Transfer Certificate (if applicable)

• Migration Certificate (if required)

• Domicile Certificate (if applicable)

• Passport-size Photographs

Candidates awaiting Class 12 results may need to submit a bonafide certificate from their school.
