The qualifying criteria for the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) 2024 are as follows:Minimum Qualifying Marks
- General Category : Candidates must achieve a minimum of 25% of the total marks, which translates to at least 50 out of 200 marks .
- SC and ST Categories : There are no fixed qualifying marks for candidates belonging to these categories, allowing them to qualify without a minimum score requirement. However, they are eligible for certain relaxations in eligibility criteria .
Rank Determination
The AP ICET ranks are assigned based on the scores obtained in the examination, with the following tie-breaker criteria applied if candidates achieve the same score:- Marks scored in Section A are prioritized.
- If a tie persists, marks from Section B are considered.
- If there is still a tie, the age of the candidates is taken into account, with older candidates receiving priority.
