CAT 2025 Exam Fees Changed, Check for General and Other Categories

CAT 2025 Exam Fees have also been increased for this year. The CAT 2025 Notification was released on July 27, 2025, where the CAT Exam Fees have been revised for both the general and other categories. The CAT Exam Fees are now INR 2600 for general candidates and INR 1300 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. 

Last year, the CAT Exam Fee was INR 2500 for general candidates and INR 1250 for candidates from other categories. It is observed that the exam fees for the CAT Exam have been hiked every year.

The Exam Fee for CAT 2025 is the amount required to be paid by the aspiring candidates for appearing in the CAT 2025 Exam scheduled to be held on November 30, 2025. IIM Kozhikode, which is conducting the CAT 2025 Exam, released the CAT 2025 official notification on July 27, 2025. The official notification mentions details related to the CAT exam dates, registration dates, exam syllabus, pattern, etc. The CAT Exam is scheduled to be held on November 30, 2025. Candidates can start registering for the exam from August 1, 2025, and the registration closing date is September 13, 2025.

Candidates can begin registering for the CAT Exam starting from August 1, 2025, and should make sure that they complete the process before the deadline, which is September 13, 2025. Candidates can check the steps below to know about the CAT 2025 Registration and Fees Submission:

Step 1: Visit the CAT official website at iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: Search and click on the ‘New Registration’ tab.

Step 3: Provide all details, including Name. Date of Birth, Phone Number, Email ID, etc to register.

Step 4: Log in to the website with the registered email ID and password to fill in the application form.

Step 5: Enter all personal and academic details.

Step 6: Upload photo and signature in the prescribed format and select preferred courses, IIMs, and test city preference.

Step 7: Pay the CAT 2025 Exam fees online through credit/debit card or net banking.

The CAT Exam Fees must be paid at the time of the submission of the application form. The application form will not be deemed complete without the payment of the exam fees. • The Exam Fees can only be paid online through a credit/debit card or online banking.

• The CAT 2025 Exam fees are to be mandatorily paid at the time of the CAT application form submission.

• The candidates will not be able to pay the application fees after the application window closes, and the application will automatically be cancelled.

• The CAT 2025 Exam Fee is non-refundable and will not be returned to the candidate under any circumstances.
