GMAT Focus Edition Marking Scheme

GMAC has revised the scoring range of the GMAT Focus Edition exam. Now, the GMAT is scored on a scale ranging from 205-805. The details of the GMAT Focus Edition scoring system are as follows:

  • Each section is scored on a scale of 60 to 90 in point increments.
  • The total score ranges from 205 to 805, in 10 points increment. combining the scores from the Quantitative and Verbal sections.
  • Candidates who fail to answer all the questions in any section of GMAT Focus receive negative marks for the same. However, there is no mark deduction for selecting a wrong answer.
  • Candidates will receive their section-wise and overall scores immediately after completing the exam.

The latest GMAT Focus Edition exam incorporates several new features designed to enhance candidates’ test-taking experience. These are as follows:
