The MAT 2023 exam for the December session will take place in the following formats:- Paper-based Test or PBT: For the MAT PBT exam, candidates must visit the allotted exam centre on the specified exam date. This exam is conducted in the offline format, and candidates get an OMR sheet to mark their answers.
- Computer-based Test or CBT: It is an online exam, and candidates need to visit the exam centre. To mark the answers, candidates have to use a computer system like other MBA entrance exams.
- Internet-based test or IBT: IBT is a remote proctored test which is held online. Candidates have to use their personal laptop or desktop to appear for this test from their home.

This means if candidates submit their MAT registration for more than one mode in one session, they must download admit cards for each mode. The MAT admit card includes essential information such as the candidate's name, roll number, form number, test date, test time, and test venue address.
