How to Send GMAT Scores to Schools: GMAT score submission requires candidates to follow a stepwise process online. After taking the GMAT exam, candidates need to select the B-schools where they want to send their scores by logging in to their registered GMAT accounts. GMAC allows candidates to send their GMAT score to a maximum of 5 programs at no cost within 48 hours of receiving the official score report. GMAC provides three types of scores for the GMAT exam. These include the following:

Candidates have the flexibility to send their GMAT scores to as many programs as they want, provided their scores are within a 5-year timeframe. It's important to note that additional score reporting fees are non-refundable. Here are the steps candidates must take to send additional GMAT score reports to colleges:
  • Log in to the registered GMAT account.
  • Search and click on the GMAT exam table.
  • Next, click on the "View and Send Score" link for the exam score candidates wish to view/send.
  • Click the "Send Score" button for the preferred exam score.
  • Search and select the programs to which candidates wish to apply through their GMAT scores.

How to Send GMAT Beyond 5 Years?

If candidates want to send their GMAT score that was taken over 5 years ago but less than 10 years ago, they must use the expired score request form. The validity of GMAT scores is 5 years from the date of issue. Therefore, scores older than 5 years require additional processing time due to their duration since attainment.

To send GMAT scores to over 5 colleges or MBA programs, candidates have to pay $35 per program. Candidates have a 48-hour window to dispatch their GMAT score to a maximum of five institutions. This service is covered by the GMAT Focus test fee. Following the test day, candidates can forward their GMAT score report to any number of MBA or alternative graduate programs for a fee of $35 per report.

How Long Does it Take to Dispatch GMAT Scores?

GMAC typically requires approximately 20 days to send candidates' official GMAT scores to their five preferred colleges. Additionally, it takes 7 calendar days to transmit additional GMAT score reports. After completing the GMAT exam, the computer-based test displays candidates' unofficial GMAT scores. Further, every candidate gets 2 minutes to decide if they want to accept the score or reject it. If candidates opt to accept their GMAT score, the official scores will be issued through their registered GMAT account. The option to reject the GMAT score is only provided to candidates who take the GMAT offline. For online remote proctored tests, the option to reject GMAT scores is not provided.
