HPU MAT 2025 Results Released: Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test (HPU MAT) 2025 results have been officially declared, and candidates can now access their scorecards through the university's official website at hpuniv.ac.in. Following the result announcement, the university will soon publish the category-wise cut-offs for both subsidized and non-subsidized seats. These cut-offs will determine eligibility for the subsequent stages of the admission process.

Candidates who meet or exceed the prescribed cut-off criteria will be eligible to proceed with the document verification phase. This can be done either by submitting the required documents via email or through physical submission, depending on the university guidelines. Applicants shortlisted under both categories—subsidized and non-subsidized—must ensure their documents are submitted within the stipulated timeline.

HPU MAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for HPU MAT 2025, candidates must meet the following academic and age requirements:

• Academic Qualification: General category candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks. However, reserved category candidates (SC/ST) need a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in their graduation exam.

• Age Limit: The maximum age limit for general category male candidates is 26 years, and for female candidates, it is 28 years. However, both males and females belonging to SC/ST categories should be 29 years or below in age as of 1st July 2025. The age restriction does not apply to non-subsidised students, defence personnel, and nominees from the State/Central Government of India.

HPU MAT 2025 Registration Process

To apply for the HPU MAT 2025, candidates must first complete the registration process by providing their basic personal information by visiting the official website. Upon successful registration, candidates will be provided with a system-generated registration number and password through their email ID and mobile number. Candidates must save the registration ID and password for further logins.

HPU MAT 2025 Exam Pattern

HPU MAT 2025 Syllabus

The Himachal Pradesh University outlines the syllabus for the HPU MAT exam to assess candidates' knowledge across various topics. Here are the key areas covered in the HPU MAT syllabus 2025:

• English Language: Includes reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and overall language proficiency.

• Business Awareness: Tests knowledge of the business environment, current affairs, and GK.

• Quantitative Aptitude: Includes topics based on arithmetic reasoning, data interpretation, and basic mathematical concepts.

• Logical Reasoning: This covers topics such as analytical skills, critical thinking, and general intelligence.

HPU MAT 2025 Result 

The HPU MAT result 2025 will be published exclusively on the official website. Candidates can access their results by logging in with their registration number and date of birth. The result will display both the overall score and rank of each candidate.

Those who qualify for the HPU MAT exam will be invited to participate in the subsequent Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. To conduct the GD/PI round, HPUBS will shortlist 3 candidates for each MBA seat.

HPU MAT 2025 Admission Process

The admission process for HPU MAT 2025 involves several key steps. These are as follows:

• Completion of the application form.

• Participation in the HPU MAT exam.

• Participate in GD/PI rounds based on entrance exam score.

• Final selection of candidates based on exam scores, GD/PI performance, and reservation policy.

HPU MAT 2025 Reservation Policy

The admission process for the HPU MAT 2025 MBA program will follow specific reservation guidelines. The exam conducting body reserves a certain percentage of seats for various categories. Here are the details of the HPU MAT reservation policy 2025:

• Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates will be allotted 15% of the total seats, and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will be given 7.5%, provided they are domiciled in Himachal Pradesh, regardless of the institution where they completed their qualifying exam.

• The remaining 77.5% of seats will be distributed as follows:

• 25% of the seats will be open to all candidates, irrespective of the institution from which they graduated.

• 75% will be reserved for candidates who either completed their qualifying examination at HP Univ., Dr. Y S Parmar Univ. of Horticulture and Forestry, HP Krishi Vishvavidyalaya Palampur, HP Technical Univ., Central Univ. of Himachal Pradesh, or those who are domiciled in Himachal Pradesh, regardless of where they completed their degree. Additionally, the following reservations will be applied for the 75% category:

HPU MAT 2025 Cut-Off 

Following the announcement of the HPU MAT 2025 results, HP University will release the cut-off marks. The cut-off marks represent the minimum score needed to be shortlisted for these rounds. Candidates must meet the HPU cut-off requirements to qualify for further stages of the admission process. 

The cut-off score will vary depending on the categories, such as General, SC, ST, Subsidised, and Non-Subsidised. Candidates can anticipate the expected cut-off by referring to the previous year’s data.

HPU MAT 2025 Counselling

The HPU MAT 2025 selection procedure includes two critical stages, namely Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). After the HPU MAT results and cut-off scores are announced, the counselling process will begin. Initially, candidates will be shortlisted based on the cut-off marks. Those who are selected will then participate in the GD and PI rounds. The final list of selected candidates will be released in July. During the HPU MAT counselling, selected candidates will be offered MBA seats across the participating institutes.
