The IIFT entrance exam for the 2024-25 academic year will not be conducted. In previous years, the NTA administered the IIFT exam online across 160 exam centers in 63 Indian cities. However, this year, admission will be based on CAT 2023 scores, as declared by the institute. The official communication states that the application form for admission to IIFT's MBA program for the academic year 2024-25 will be made available in September 2023.

IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2024

• To apply, you need a Bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent aggregate from a recognized university, or an equivalent qualification.
• If you belong to SC/ST/PWD categories, a minimum of 45 percent is required.
• If you're in your final year of graduation, you can apply too.
• Your passing certificate can be submitted by October.

IIFT Registration Process 2024

1. Go to the official website.
2. Click on 'New registration.
3. Fill in the basic details and submit the form.
4. Create a password and select a security question.
5. Make a note of the system-generated application number; it's crucial for logging in.
6. Use the application number to log in and complete the IIFT registration.
7. Upload your photo, signature, and certificates.
8. Pay the application fee through credit or debit cards (VISA or MasterCard), net banking, or mobile wallets (Paytm or UPI).

• Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension: This section covers Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies, Idioms and Phrases, English Proficiency, Sentence Reconstruction, Sentence Formation, One Word Substitution, Fill in the Blanks, Preposition, Phrases, Parajumble, Odd Word Out, and Reading Comprehension.
• Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning: Topics here include Decision Making, Series, Data Structures, Blood Relations, Verbal Logic, Coding-Decoding, Syllogisms, Visual & Critical Reasoning, Family Tree Problem, Cause & Effect, Puzzles, Linear & Matrix Arrangements, Statement & Conclusion, and representation through Line Graphs, Pie Charts, Tables, and Bar Charts.
• Quantitative Aptitude: Subjects covered are Number System, Trigonometry, Compound Interest, HCF & LCM, Median, Coordinate Geometry, Set Theory, Mensuration, Probability, Time-Speed-Distance, Logarithm, Venn Diagrams, Geometric Mean, Ratio & Proportion, Linear Equations, Algebra, Clocks, and Averages.

IIFT Admit Card 2024

1. Initiate by visiting the official IIFT-NTA website: iift.nta.nic.in
2. Identify and select the option labeled 'IIFT 2024 admit card download.'
3. Input your application number, date of birth, and security pin as specified.
4. Proceed by clicking 'submit' to initiate the download of your IIFT 2024 admit card.

• It is important to note that this year, the issuance of the IIFT admit card will not take place due to the non-conduction of the exam. For the forthcoming academic session, admission will be determined based on the CAT 2023 score.

IIFT Exam Day Guidelines

Dos:

• Ensure you arrive at the IIFT exam center in accordance with the reporting time stipulated in your IIFT admit card for verification and identification purposes.
• Carry two prints of your IIFT admit card on an A4-sized paper. Have additional passport-sized photographs (preferably matching the one uploaded during application) for affixing onto the attendance sheet at the examination center.
• Bring a valid photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, college ID, driving license, or PAN card (both original and photocopy).
• Carry a ballpoint pen (black or blue) for signing the attendance sheet and for rough work. Comply with COVID-19 guidelines as detailed in your IIFT admit card.

Don'ts:

• Avoid arriving late at your designated IIFT exam center.
• Entry to the test venue will not be permitted after 9:30 a.m.
• Refrain from carrying electronic devices like calculators, digital watches, phones, iPads, written materials, etc.
• Do not bring any food items or stationary. Avoid wearing accessories or items containing metal on the exam day.

IIFT Cutoffs for MBA Admission 2024

IIFT Admission Process 2024

• Candidates successfully surpassing the IIFT cut-off marks are shortlisted to participate in the Extempore and Personal Interview phase.
• During the Extempore segment, candidates are presented with a topic, often pertaining to general or business matters. A time span of approximately 20 minutes is provided to compose an essay of approximately 300 words.
• In the event of a Group Discussion (GD) round being conducted, candidates are grouped into clusters of 10-12 individuals and given a specific topic to address. This stage assesses candidates' ability to initiate discussions, communicate effectively, and articulate ideas adeptly.
• The subsequent phase involves Personal Interviews (PI), where candidates engage in interviews with a panel of assessors. Final decisions regarding admission are communicated to candidates via email once the selection process concludes.
