Candidates who want to apply for the full-time MBA course through Karnataka PGCET must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • Candidates must have passed their UG degree exam having 3 years or more course duration.
  • Candidates belonging to the general category must score a minimum of 50% aggregate score, while reserved category candidates need to secure 45% marks to be eligible for the PGCET exam.
  • There is no specified minimum or maximum PGCET age limit 2025 for MBA courses.

PGCET Eligibility Criteria for Part-Time MBA

To apply for PGCET part-time MBA, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • Candidates should complete their UG degree from any stream. The course duration for the UG program must be three years or more.
  • General category candidates must qualify for their UG degree exam with a minimum aggregate score of 50%, while reserved category candidates should have 45% marks.
  • For part-time MBA admission, candidates must have their office located within a 40 km radius. Additionally, candidates’ work experience must be 3 years or more as on 31 July 2025.

Candidates Completing Qualifying Degree from Karnataka

If candidates don’t have 7 years of education from Karnataka government institutes, they can get reservation benefits by applying under this category. The eligibility criteria under this category require candidates to complete their undergraduate education and pass the UG final exam from Karnataka government colleges. Additionally, either parents of the candidate should have completed 7-years of academic education from a government institute in Karnataka. Here are the documents candidates should possess to apply for reserved MBA seats if they complete their UG from Karnataka:
  • Class 10 and 12 marks sheet
  • Qualifying exam marks card
  • Cast and income certificate
  • Qualifying exam certificate

Candidates With 7-years Academic Education in Karnataka

Candidates must have completed 7-years of academic education from government institutes of Karnataka without taking any break. Additionally, they should have taken and cleared class 11 and 12 exams from an institute recognized by the Karnataka government. In case, candidates take more than 1 year to clear an exam, their additional attempts will be considered as 1 year only.
