Karnataka PGCET Seat Allotment 2023: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) released the mock Karnataka PGCET seat allotment list online at its official website. The final Karnataka PGCET seat allotment results will be released for the first round on 23 January. Eligible candidates who completed the option entry for Karnataka PGCET 2023 on 20 January can view the initial seat allotment results today by 6 PM.

Candidates were allowed to modify their options after the Karnataka PGCET mock allotment result until 11 AM today (23 January). KEA will publish the Karnataka PGCET cut off ranks along with the seat allotment results for the first round.

Candidates who will receive a seat in the Karnataka PGCET seat allotment results must make choices and proceed with the payment of the admission fee. Further, the first round of the seat allotment process will conclude upon candidates reporting to the allocated institute.

Karnataka PGCET Seat Allotment 2023 Process

The government provides college-wise, course-wise, and category-wise seat availability for each program through the KEA website. Once the deadline for entering options has passed, seat allotment will take place based on the priority of options entered by candidates, reservation policy, and candidates’ rank. The sequence of the seat allotment process is as follows:

Seat Allotment for ME/M.Tech/M.Arch Courses

The first seat is allotted to candidates from M.E., M.Tech., or M.Arch courses, depending on their valid GATE scores. Reservation benefits are offered to only those who qualify as Karnataka candidates. Non-Karnataka GATE rank holders are considered under the General Category. After the allocation of seats to eligible GATE rank holders concludes, 90% of the remaining seats under the General category are reserved for Karnataka candidates. On the other hand the remaining 10% seats are allocated to Non-Karnataka Candidates who are eligible PGCET 2023 rank holders.

Seat Allotment for MCA Lateral Entry

MCA Lateral Entry seats for all reserved categories, and General category students are offered in this stage simultaneously. All eligible MCA Lateral Entry rank holders, including candidates, are allotted seats under the PwD and ME/M.Tech courses are considered for seat allotment in accordance with their ranks.

Seat Allotment for MBA Course

MBA seats for all reserved categories, Ex-Defence, and General category candidates are offered at this stage. Karnataka PGCET eligible MBA rank holders, including candidates who have chosen seats under the PwD/MCA/ME/M.Tech categories are considered for the allotment of MBA seats based on their ranks.

KEA will release the results for the Karnataka PGCET first round of seat allotment after concluding option entry modification.
