MAT Admit Card Guidelines

To appear for the MAT exam, candidates must download the MAT 2025 admit card from the AIMA MAT website. Although candidates are allowed to access their admit card until the exam day, downloading it early is recommended so they can verify all the details mentioned on the admit card and rectify any inaccuracy on time.

After downloading the MAT admit card, candidates must ensure the following details are correctly mentioned on the admit card:

  • Candidate's name

  • Application number and roll number

  • Candidate’s photograph and signature

  • Exam mode and timings

  • Exam centre name and location

  • Reporting time

  • Exam day instructions

Reporting to Exam Centre

  • AIMA allocates a specific exam centre for each candidate to take the MAT. Candidates must ensure they know what to carry for MAT 2025 exam centre at the designated time mentioned on their admit card.
  • Upon arrival, candidates must go through identity and security checks to be allowed to enter the assigned examination hall.

Valid ID Proof Requirement

For the identity checking process at the MAT exam centre, candidates must carry two printed copies of their admit card and a passport-sized photograph, preferably the same as uploaded during the MAT registration process, for security and verification purposes.  Additionally, they should carry any one of the following valid photo ID proofs:

  • Passport

  • Voter ID card

  • Aadhaar card

  • PAN card

  • Driving license

  • Employer ID card

  • College ID card

At the entry gate, exam officials will check both the admit card and photo ID. Candidates will also undergo a security check to ensure compliance with examination rules.

MAT Exam Centre Procedures and Conduct

  • After the security check, the invigilator will sign the candidate's admit card. Candidates must remember to get their admit card signed beforehand.

  • Candidates should avoid any unfair means during the exam. Any violation of the exam code of conduct may result in strict penalties or disqualification.

  • Candidates will get separate rough sheets inside the test lab. Therefore, one must not carry sheets from home.

  • For PBT mode, students will receive OMR sheets to mark their answers. When marking the correct answer option, candidates must check the question number to ensure accuracy.

Prohibited Items and Personal Belongings

  • Personal belongings such as bags, mobile phones, watches, wallets, books, and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Candidates must arrange to keep these items outside the examination hall.

  • Candidates appearing for the PBT mode exam should carry two blue ballpoint pens to fill out the OMR sheet. For other modes, a single blue ballpoint pen is sufficient for signing the attendance sheet.

  • Candidates must avoid carrying electronic gadgets and personal belongings.

  • Avoid engaging in misconduct or violating exam rules, as these may result in severe penalties.

  • Refrain from signing the admit card before security verification.

  • Don’t carry any edible items inside the exam centre. Diabetic candidates with medical prescriptions may be allowed to carry the required eatable items during the exam.
