MAT Exam Pattern

MAT Exam Pattern 2025: MAT 2025 exam (February session) has begun. The exam is scheduled to be held on March 9, 2025 (PAPER BASED TEST) and March 23, 2025 (Sunday) (Computer Based Test). The exam happens four times a year, in February, May, September, and December. You can take the exam in different formats, and choose the one that suits you best. The registration fee is the same for all formats. The All India Management Association (AIMA) has released the application form and schedule for February session.

MAT Exam Pattern 2025 Overview

The MAT 2025 exam will be conducted in three modes: CBT (Computer-Based Test), PBT (Paper-Based Test), and PBT+CBT based. According to the MAT exam pattern, the question paper will be divided into five sections: Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, and Economics & Business Environment.

Each section will have 30 multiple-choice questions, reduced from the previous 40, making a total of 150 questions instead of 200. The exam duration is 120 minutes. Candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
