The way MBA colleges in India select students using CMAT scores is quite simple, these steps are the prime consideration points of the MBA admission process.
Step 1:
First, students take the CMAT exam and get their scores.
Step 2:
Then, each college decides a minimum score (cutoff). If a student's score is higher than this cutoff, they move to the next rounds, which are Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). In these rounds, the colleges evaluate how well students can communicate and present themselves.
Step 3:
If a student does well in GD and PI, they are offered admission into the MBA program. The cutoff score varies for each college and depends on factors like a student's marks, their rank in the merit list, their preferences, category, and the available seats.
