NMAT 2025 Dress Code Guidelines

For Female Candidates

• Tops and Shirts : Female candidates are advised to wear tops, shirts, Kurtis, jeans, leggings, and other comfortable clothing. However, they must avoid wearing clothes with multiple layers, large pockets, tube tops, sleepwear/pajamas, and long-sleeved tops.
• Bottoms : Simple and modest clothing is recommended for the bottom half. Avoid provocative and sleeveless outfits.
• Special Notes : Female candidates should avoid wearing sleepwear/pajamas and long-sleeved tops.

For Male Candidates

• Tops and Shirts : Male candidates are recommended to wear shirts, t-shirts, jeans, pants, and other comfortable clothing. However, they must avoid wearing sandos (undershirts), long-sleeved shirts, and hoodies.
• Bottoms : Simple and modest clothing is recommended for the bottom half.
• Special Notes : Male candidates should avoid wearing sandos and long-sleeved shirts.

Footwear

• Test Center Exam : For candidates taking the exam at a test center, simple footwear without thick soles or metallic trims is allowed. Sandals, formal shoes, and slippers are permitted inside the exam center.
• Remote Proctored Exam : For candidates taking the remote proctored exam, there are no specific footwear restrictions.

Additional Guidelines

• Personal Items : Candidates are not allowed to bring any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, and Bluetooth devices inside the exam hall. They must keep their wallets, mobile phones, and other personal belongings securely in the designated lockers at the test center.
• ID Proof : Candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof to the exam center. The ID proof should have the candidate's official signature. Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, and PAN Card are acceptable forms of ID proof.

Remote Proctored Exam Guidelines

• System Preparation : Ensure all open applications on the system are closed before starting the exam.
• Technical Issues : If there is a computer malfunction or connectivity issue, the proctor will guide candidates to resume the exam within 30 minutes. If the problem persists, candidates must schedule another attempt, and the fee for the incomplete attempt will be forfeited.
• ID Proof : Candidates must have original physical copies of their ID proof during the exam. Soft copies and electronic IDs will not be accepted.

NMAT 2025 Exam Day Prohibited Items

• Pens : Pens are strictly not allowed during the test. Candidates must use the provided pencils for any necessary writing.
• Electronic Devices : Mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, and Bluetooth devices are not permitted inside the exam hall.
• Food and Drinks : Eating and drinking are not allowed inside the exam hall.

NMAT 2025 Exam Day: Dos and Don'ts

Dos

• Visit the Exam Center in Advance : Candidates should visit the exam center one or two days prior to the exam to estimate travel time and familiarize themselves with the location.
• Download and Review Admit Card : Candidates must download the NMAT 2024 admit card from the official website and carefully review the details provided, such as candidate names, registration numbers, test times, and venue information.
• Carry Admit Card and ID Proof : Candidates must carry a printout of their NMAT admit card and a valid photo ID proof to the exam center.
• Verify Room Number and Seating : Before entering the exam hall, candidates should verify the room number, seating arrangement, and the assigned computer according to their NMAT roll number.

Don'ts

• Sign Admit Card Before Exam : Candidates must avoid signing their NMAT 2024 admit card before reaching the exam center. Any marks on the admit card can lead to issues during the exam.
• Bring Prohibited Items : Candidates must not bring any prohibited items, such as pens, electronic devices, or food and drinks, inside the exam hall.
