NMIMS MBA Admissions 2025

MBA Admissions 2025: NMIMS started the MBA admissions process through NMAT to fill 1,740 seats across its campuses. Candidates who want an MBA seat at NMIMS need to complete the form to be part of the shortlisting process. NMIMS will select candidates based on their NMAT scores , including scores in each section and the overall score.

To apply for the NMIMS MBA program, the first step was to complete the NMAT exam application. Those who missed the NMAT registration deadline are not eligible for NMIMS MBA admissions for 2025.

The NMAT exam will be held from November 5. All applicants can take the NMAT exam up to three times, but NMIMS will only consider the score from the first attempt when shortlisting candidates.

NMIMS MBA Admissions 2025

The last date to apply for MBA admissions at NMIMS for the 2025 academic year is today, October 30, 2024. This deadline was extended from earlier dates, which were October 10 and then October 21. Candidates must ensure that they have submitted their NMAT application and scheduled their first attempt before applying. The selection process will consider NMAT scores from the first attempt, along with other criteria such as performance in psychometric tests, written aptitude tests (WAT), personal interviews (PI), work experience, and past academic records. Interested applicants can complete their registration at the official NMIMS MBA application portal.

NMIMS MBA Seat Intake 2025

There are 1,740 seats available for MBA admission at NMIMS across different campuses. Here’s the seat distribution by campus:
  • Mumbai: 1,020 seats
  • Bengaluru: 240 seats
  • Jadcherla (Hyderabad): 240 seats
  • Navi Mumbai: 120 seats
  • Indore: 120 seats

NMIMS MBA Selection Criteria 2025

The NMIMS MBA admissions process has two stages:
  1. NMAT Exam: In the first stage, candidates take the NMAT exam, and NMIMS shortlists candidates based on their NMAT scores.
  2. Selection Rounds: Shortlisted candidates move to the second stage, which includes a psychometric test, a written aptitude test, and a personal interview. Candidates must bring their NMAT 2024 scorecard to these rounds.
The final selection depends on candidates’ performance in the selection rounds, their NMAT scores, previous academic records, and any work experience. NMIMS Mumbai, known for high NMAT cut-offs (typically above 232), has reduced the overall weightage of NMAT scores from 6 0% to 20% . The newly introduced competency assessment now holds the highest weightage of 50% , emphasizing problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills.
