  • Academic Requirements: General category candidates must have scored 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12, with a minimum of 40% for SC/ST candidates. Additionally, candidates must have passed English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually.

OJEE Counselling Process 2024

The OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) counselling process for 2024 is structured into several key steps, allowing candidates to secure admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Odisha.

Step 1: Registration
  1. Visit the official OJEE website to register for counselling.
  2. Enter your application number, name, gender, and date of birth, then submit the form.
  3. Complete the registration form by providing additional details such as course preferences, ranks, marks, educational documents, category, family income certificate, and bank details for fee payment.
  4. For MBA, MCA, MTech/MPlan/MArch, and MPharm courses, select the entrance exam you have qualified (e.g., OJEE, GATE, GPAT, NIMCET, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or ATMA).
  5. After filling in all details, a password will be generated for your account. Pay the counselling fee of INR 450.
Step 2: Choice Filling/Option Locking
  1. After payment, choose your preferred colleges and courses from the list.
  2. You can add, edit, or change the order of your preferences.
  3. Lock your choices by finalizing them. Note that once locked, your choices cannot be changed.
Step 3: Seat Allotment Announcement
  1. The seat allotment list will be published based on your choices and merit rank.
  2. Review your allotment and visit the counselling centre to confirm your seat, or wait for the next allotment if you choose to skip this round.
Step 4: Document Verification
  1. To confirm your seat, provide the required eligibility documents and upload verified originals online.
  2. Pay a partial admission fee of INR 10,000 for General category or INR 5,000 for SC/ST/PC categories.
  3. You will receive a final seat allotment letter with details about your college and course.
  4. You have the option to withdraw after allotment, with a refund available if done within the specified period. Note that withdrawals after the deadline will forfeit your deposit.
Step 5: Admission Confirmation
  1. Report to the allotted college, submit your documents, and pay the remaining admission fee after the final allotment.
  2. Failure to report within the given time will result in cancellation of your admission.
  3. Withdrawal from your allotted seat will make you ineligible for future rounds, and remaining candidates will be considered for seat upgrades.
