Eligibility Criteria for TANCET Counselling 2024

• Residency : Candidates must be residents of Tamil Nadu to qualify for TANCET counselling.
• Qualifying Exam : Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum course duration of three years.
• Aggregate Score : Candidates must score a minimum 50% aggregate score in the qualifying exam (45% for reserved categories).
• TANCET Exam : Candidates must attempt the TANCET MBA exam 2024 and qualify it by achieving the above cut-off score.
• Age Limit : There are no specified age limits, either upper or lower, for participation in TANCET counselling.

• Open Competition : 31.00% of seats are reserved for candidates from this category.
• Backward Class : 26.50% of seats are reserved for candidates from this category.
• Most Backward Class and Denotified Communities : 20.00% of seats are reserved for candidates from this category.
• Scheduled Caste (SC) : 15.00% of seats are reserved for candidates from this category.
• Scheduled Tribes (ST) : 1.00% of seats are reserved for candidates from this category.
• SC (Arunthathiyar) : 3.00% of seats are reserved for candidates from this category.
• Backward Class Muslims : 3.50% of seats are reserved for candidates from this category.

Steps for TANCET Counselling 2024

Online Registration

1. Application Form : The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) will accept the TANCET application form online.
2. Document Upload : Candidates are required to upload supporting documents, including their TANCET scorecard, hall ticket, and other relevant certificates.
3. Fees : The counselling fee is INR 600 for unreserved category candidates and INR 300 for SC/SCA/ST category candidates.

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment
