How to Calculate TANCET 2024 Rank
DTE, Chennai is responsible for the allocation of ranks to TANCET qualifiers based on their examination scores. Candidates' TANCET scores are normalised to determine the percentile score, which in turn helps determine their TANCET rank. The rank reflects the candidates' merit position among all test takers. The candidate achieving the highest percentile score secures the first rank according to the TANCET merit or rank list. In case two or more candidates secure equal TANCET scores and rank, DTE employs the following methods to break the tie:- Comparing the average percentage of marks secured by candidates in their qualifying examination.
