Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) prepares the TS ICET results based on the candidate's marked responses, which are recorded in the TS ICET response sheet. The final result includes the following key components: TG ICET Raw Score, TG ICET Normalised Score, TG ICET Rank. Candidates can check here for the detailed process involved in compiling the TS ICET 2025 result:
The raw score for TG ICET is determined as per the official marking guidelines. TGCHE evaluates the number of correct answers marked by a candidate and calculates the score accordingly. Candidates can also estimate their score in advance by comparing their responses with the official TS ICET answer key and response sheet. The Marking Scheme for TG ICET 2025 is as follows:
Each correct answer awards +1 mark
No deduction for incorrect answer
No marks are deducted for unanswered questions
Hence, the TG ICET raw score is equal to the total number of correct responses made by the candidate.

The normalization of marks in TG ICET refers to the adjustment of scores for candidates who appeared in different exam sessions conducted at varying times. This process is implemented to ensure fairness by placing all candidates on an equal footing, regardless of whether their session was relatively easy or difficult. The primary goal of the TG ICET normalization process is to eliminate any advantage or disadvantage caused by session-wise difficulty levels. It ensures that the final scores accurately reflect a candidate’s true performance while maintaining consistency across all exam slots.
TGCHE assigns ranks to all qualifying candidates based on their normalised scores. Following the result declaration, TG ICET participating colleges release their respective cutoff ranks. Aspirants securing ranks equal to or below the cutoff are considered eligible for MBA admissions across institutions in Telangana.
When multiple candidates obtain identical scores, TSCHE resolves the tie using a structured set of criteria in the following order:
Higher marks in Section A: Preference is given to the candidate who scores higher in Section A of the TS ICET exam.
Higher marks in Section B: If the Section A scores are the same, the one with a better score in Section B is given an advantage.
Age factor: If the tie remains unresolved, preference is granted to the older candidate.
