TISS MBA Admission 2024: The Tata Institute of Social Sciences will begin the TISS MBA admission 2024 on 20 June. The selection process for MBA programs offered by TISS will comprise an online assessment and an extempore. For admission in 2024, TISS is not conducting TISSNET. Instead, the admission officers will shortlist candidates for online assessments based on their CUET PG and CAT 2023 scores .
Shortlisted candidates must complete the TISS application form to receive their specific date and time for the online assessment. The online assessment link has been provided to the shortlisted candidates. The institute will not consider any request for changes to the exam date. TISS, Mumbai has restructured by eliminating the TISSNET exam and conducting online assessments to shortlist candidates. The online assessments will last 20-30 minutes. Candidates will be evaluated by a three-member panel. The revised TISS online assessment for MBA admissions is detailed below:- Extempore: In this round, candidates will be provided with a topic relevant to their field of study, and they will be asked to present their views on it for 2-3 minutes. If candidates find the first topic uncomfortable, they may request a second topic. However, they won't get the option to choose the third topic.
- Online Personal Interview (OPI): In the PI round, panel members will conduct an interview to assess the candidate's motivation, interest, and subject knowledge. The interview will also evaluate the candidate's understanding of social and economic factors.
TISS Online Assessments 2024 Guidelines
To participate in the TISS online assessment 2024, candidates must install and test the ZOOM application on their device in advance. The recommended software for attempting TISS online assessments without any technical inconvenience is Windows, iOS, or Android.
- Carefully select the device for taking the TISS Online Assessments.
- Install video conferencing applications before the commencement of the exam.
- Test internet connectivity.
- Choose a suitable location for the OA. The location must be quiet and away from any disturbance. It is recommended that candidates close the door of the selected room to take the exam effectively.
- Test Zoom meeting operations.
- Keep an optional plan in place to resolve any potential technical issues.
- Dress appropriately to improve representation during the OA.
