How to Select XAT Test Cities 2025?

1. Register Online : Start by registering for the XAT 2025 exam on the official website ( https://xatonline.in/ ).
2. Login : After registration, log in to access the application form.
3. Fill Out the Application : Enter all required details in the application form.
4. Select Test Cities : Move to the 'select test city' section where you can choose up to six cities from a provided list. It's advisable to select these cities in order of preference.
5. Complete the Form : After selecting your preferred cities, continue filling out the rest of the application form.
6. Payment and Submission : Make the necessary fee payment and submit your application.

Important Considerations

• Preference Order : Choose your hometown or residence as your first preference to increase the likelihood of being assigned there.
• Seat Availability : If your first choice is full, you will be allotted a center in your second choice, and so on.

• The limit for city selection has been increased to six cities , allowing for greater flexibility.

• The examination authority reserves the right to change or cancel any exam centre based on administrative needs.
• Final allotment decisions rest with XLRI Jamshedpur, and candidates will not be able to request changes after the admit card is issued.

4. Important Dates

• The XAT 2025 exam is scheduled for January 5, 2025 , with registration starting on July 15, 2024 , and closing on November 30, 2024 (tentative).

5. Preparation Before Exam Day

• Visit your chosen exam centre a day prior to familiarize yourself with the location and travel time.

6. Reporting Time

How to Change XAT Exam Centre 2025?

1. Initial Selection : During the registration process, candidates can select two preferred exam cities from the provided list. This selection is made while filling out the application form
2. Changing Preferences : Candidates may have the option to change their test city preferences only in critical circumstances before the release of the admit card. Once the admit card is issued, no changes to the exam center will be permitted
3. Editing Options : If you need to change your selected city, you can do so by:
   • Sending an email to admis@xlri.ac.in or using the ‘Ask Us/ Raise Query’ option on the login page.
   • In your email or query, include your XAT ID, father's name, date of birth, initially chosen city, and your new preferred city.
4. Important Dates : Candidates who have already submitted their application will have a brief window (September 28-29, 2024) to edit their test city preferences if they wish to select from newly added cities.
5. Final Decision : The final allotment of exam centers is at the discretion of XLRI Jamshedpur, and they reserve the right to change or cancel any test center as needed.
