In NEET PG 2025, each question gives 4 marks. If your answer is correct, you get +4, if it is wrong, you lose 1 mark, and if you don’t answer, you get 0. For example, if you get 150 correct and 20 wrong, your score will be 600 minus 20, which is 580. The highest possible score for 200 questions is 800.
NBEMS released the answer key, but many students complained because the full question paper was not shared. Students filed a petition in the Supreme Court, saying this is not fair and makes checking difficult. The Court will hear the case soon to decide if NBEMS should release the full question paper for transparency.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start online counselling for 50% All India Quota seats in mid to late September 2025. Students will register, pay fees, fill their choices, get seat allotment, and report for admission. The other 50% of seats under state quota will be handled by the state counselling authorities.
