Optional questions have been removed from NEET UG 2025 . The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to discontinue Section B, which previously contained optional questions, marking a return to the pre-COVID exam format.
In NEET UG 2025, all 180 questions will be compulsory, and candidates will need to answer all of them within the standard 180-minute duration. The exam will consist of 45 questions each in Physics and Chemistry, and 90 questions in Biology, with no extra time or flexibility to skip any questions.
