Recently, the National Test Agency (NTA) clarified that the NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in pen paper mode (OMR Based). The exam will be held on a single day and in a single shift .

Section B Removed From NEET Question Paper Overview

The optional Section B was introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic to help students deal with the challenges they faced in preparing for the exam. For NEET UG 2025, all candidates will be required to attempt a total of 180 compulsory questions , covering three subjects: Physics (45 questions), Chemistry (45 questions), and Biology (90 questions). The examination duration will remain 180 minutes, and no additional time will be provided . The removal of optional questions ensures uniformity in the exam structure, where every student will face the same set of questions within the same timeframe.
