The Railway Recruitment Boards released the official notification on June 26, 2025, declaring the CBAT Exam Date as July 15, 2025. The information has been published on the official RRB regional websites as well as in leading employment news platforms. This date is final and applicable to all eligible candidates across various zones. Candidates who have successfully qualified for the CBT Stage 2 exam are eligible to appear for the CBAT. As per the RRB recruitment rules, only those candidates who score qualifying marks in the CBAT will be considered for final selection, subject to medical fitness and document verification.

RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Pattern

• CBT 1 is a screening exam for shortlisting candidates for CBT 2.
• Total marks: 75
• Duration: 60 minutes
• Negative marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each incorrect answer.

RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern

• RRB Stage 2 is divided into Part A and Part B.
• Part A: 100 questions in 90 minutes
• Part B: 75 questions in 60 minutes
• Only marks obtained in Part A are considered for shortlisting candidates for further stages.
• Negative marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each incorrect answer.

• Weightage: Part A CBT 2 marks account for 70%, while CBAT marks account for 30% in the merit list
