NIOS 12th Registration 2025: Registration for the National Institute of Open Schooling's (NIOS) 12th public test, scheduled for October 2024, has begins. The application form for the October–November 2024 public examinations must be completed by students who plan to sit for the NIOS 12th exam in October 2024 via the official website, nios.ac.in.
Students can do registration for NIOS 12th October 2024 test without late fee from June 7, 2024, to July 6, 2024. From July 7, 2024, until July 16, 2024, they can register for a late charge of Rs 150 per topic. Registration is available from July 17, 2024, until July 26, 2024, with a combined late charge of Rs 1,600 per student.

For the public examinations scheduled for April–May 2025, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has launched registration for the NIOS 12th grade. Students have until July 31, 2024, to register without paying a late charge. They can register between August 1 and August 15, 2024, if they choose to pay a 200 INR late charge. August 16 through August 31, 2024, is when registration is available, with a 400 INR late fee. From September 1 to September 15, 2024, registration is available with a late cost of INR 700. For NIOS 12th registration in 2025, students must visit either the sdimis.nios.ac.in or nios.ac.in official websites. Students in Class 12 are admitted to the NIOS in two cycles. Students that meet the requirements can register themselves on the official NIOS website. Twice a year, NIOS conducts admissions to the Senior Secondary levels. NIOS 12th Registration 2025
For Block-I admission, the NIOS 12th Registration window is now open. The following documents must be available for all students enrolling for NIOS Admissions for Class 12. Applicants should gather all of the following paperwork before submitting their NIOS 12th Admissions application.- Current coloured passport-size photo Signature (best in black ink)
- Authentic identity documentation (such as an Aadhaar card, passport, ration card, etc.)
- A valid proof of date of birth (such as a birth certificate or Aadhaar card carrying the date of birth in the format dd/mm/yyyy)
- Valid evidence of Residence (such Aadhaar Card with complete address printed on it, valid Passport etc.).
- Aadhaar cards, water bills, electricity bills, voter IDs, ration cards, Indian passports, statements of operational bank accounts, appointment letters from employers on printed letterhead, and, if residing in rental housing, copies of any documentation proving a permanent address in addition to the current rental agreement
- Class 8 grade report (for secondary courses) or Class 10 grade report (for senior level courses)
- Social category/Caste certificate (if the student is in the OBC, SC, or ST social categories). Certificate of Ex-Servicemanship (if applicable)
- Certificate of Disability (should they have any form of disability)
- Failure to submit the preceding board's mark sheet will result in the Transfer of Credit (TOC) marks not being updated in the NIOS result. If the TOC Board indicated with (*Other) is chosen, the student must provide a result verification letter from the Concerned Board in accordance with NIOS guidelines, or the result should be available on the Concerned Board website.

Can I directly apply for 12th in NIOS?
Students must have cleared class 10 from a recognized board to be eligible for NIOS class 12 registration 2023-24. Students who apply immediately after passing Class 10 will not be allowed to sit for the exams for all the subjects in one attempt.
Can I apply for NIOS anytime?
There is no set timeline for the on-demand exams. They are conducted every year, and you can attempt them whenever you are thoroughly prepared. If you are thinking of giving the on-demand examinations, it is important to have clarity on their eligibility criteria and the whole procedure.
Can I appear for 12th again from NIOS?
NIOS allows you to apply again in a subject, which you have already passed, for improvement of performance but only once. You have to apply for improvement in the same manner as for appearing at the first chance examination and pay the required fee.
