Documents Required NIOS 10th Admission 2024

1. Recent passport-size colored photograph.
2. Signature (preferably in black ink).
3. Valid identity proof (such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, Ration Card, etc.).
4. Valid proof of Date of Birth (e.g., Aadhaar Card with the date of birth printed in dd/mm/yyyy format, Birth Certificate, etc.).
5. Valid proof of Residence (e.g., Aadhaar Card with complete address printed on it, valid Passport, etc.).
6. Address proof (Acceptable documents include Aadhaar Card, Water Bill, Electricity Bill, Voter ID, Ration Card, Indian Passport, Statement of Operational Bank Account, or Appointment Letter from the Employer on Printed Letterhead. If residing in rented accommodation, a copy of any proof of permanent address along with the present Rented Agreement is required).
7. Class 10th marksheet (required for senior secondary course).
8. Social category/Caste certificate (if applicable for learners belonging to SC/ST/OBC social category).
9. Ex-serviceman certificate (if applicable).
10. Disability certificate (if applicable).
11. Fail Marksheet of the previous Board, if any.

NIOS Class 12 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: The minimum age limit for NIOS 12th admission is 15 years.
• Minimum Education: Applicants must have cleared Class 10 from a recognized board to apply for NIOS Class 12 registration in 2025. Students who are applying immediately after passing 10th will not be allowed to sit for exams for all subjects in one attempt.
