NIOS Admissions Documents Required
The following documents must be available for all students enrolling for NIOS Admissions. Applicants should gather all of the following paperwork before submitting their NIOS Admissions application.

Current colored passport-size photo Signature (best in black ink).

Authentic identity documentation (such as an Aadhaar card, passport, ration card, etc.)

A valid proof of date of birth (such as a birth certificate or Aadhaar card carrying the date of birth in the format dd/mm/yyyy).

Legitimate evidence of residency, such as a passport or Aadhaar card bearing the full address.

Proof of address, such as an Aadhaar card, water or electricity bill, voter ID, ration card, or Indian

If you live in rented housing, a copy of your passport, a statement of your operational bank account, or an appointment letter from your employer on printed letterhead, as well as your current rental agreement.

Class 8 grade report (for secondary courses) or Class 10 grade report (for senior-level courses)

Social category/Caste certificate (if the student is in the OBC, SC, or ST social categories). Certificate of Ex-Serviceman ship (if applicable).

Certificate of Disability (should they have any form of disability).

Failure to submit the preceding board's mark sheet will result in the Transfer of Credit (TOC) marks not being updated in the NIOS result. If the TOC Board marked with (*Other) is chosen, the learner must submit result verification or the result should be available on the website of the concerned board.
