How many marks are good in NSO?

How many students are selected for NSO Level 2?
The top 25 scorers in each zone who took the Level 1 test are qualified to take the Level 2 exam. Each participating school has a minimum of ten rank-holders who took tests and received 50 per cent qualifying marks.
What is NSO passing marks?
The class topper is determined when at least 10 students from a class take the test and score 50% or better. The top rank holder will qualify for the second level, regardless of section, if registration is received by section.
Who gets gold medal in NSO?
All students scoring 100% marks will be awarded Gold Medal of Excellence. For 5 to 9 students writing the exam from a class – Gold Medal of Excellence to top rank holder in class. For 10 to 25 students writing the exam from a class – Gold Medal of Excellence to top 3 rank holders.

Select the "National Science Olympiad (NSO) 2023 result" link. There will be an appearance of the login window.

NSO Eligibility Criteria 2023
Students in grades 1st through 12th are eligible to participate in the first level Olympiad, per NSO eligibility requirements. There is no minimum score needed.
The following students are eligible for the second level exam:
Top 25 rank holders, both zone- and class-wise, and class toppers from each participating school where at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam and receive 50% qualifying marks are among the top 5% of students who appear for the first level exam.
If students register sectionally, the highest scoring students overall, regardless of section, will advance to the second level.
The winner(s) of the gold medal may not automatically advance to the second level of the section-wise registrations.
NSO Answer Key 2023
On its official website, NSO posts the NSO answer keys for each of the three sets. Three to four weeks following the SOF NSO exam, the NSO answer keys are usually made available. Students can determine their likely score by consulting the NSO answer keys for 2023. The student's eligibility for the Level 2 exam can then be determined by comparing this score to the cutoff.
