UP Police Constable Expected Cut-Off 2024 |
|
| Category | Expected Cutoff (Out of 300) |
| General | 188-195 |
| OBC | 175-180 |
| SC | 145-150 |
| ST | 115-120 |
Number of Vacancies : The total number of available positions directly impacts the cut-off. Fewer vacancies often lead to a higher cut-off, while a larger number of vacancies may lower the threshold.
Number of Candidates : A higher number of applicants typically raises the competition level, potentially increasing the cut-off as more candidates vie for limited positions.
Difficulty Level of the Exam : If the exam is particularly difficult in a given year, the cut-off may be lower to accommodate the reduced performance of candidates. Conversely, an easier exam may result in a higher cut-off.
Category of Candidates : Different categories such as General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS often have distinct cut-offs based on reservation policies. Candidates from reserved categories usually have lower cut-offs compared to General category candidates.
Previous Year’s Cut-Off : Trends from past years influence the current year’s cut-off, as it helps to set expectations and competition levels.
