MPSC Group B Prelims Result 2025
The MPSC Group B Selection Process 2025 is a detailed and multi-step procedure to choose the best candidates for various government posts in Maharashtra. It includes exams, a physical test (for specific posts), and document verification to ensure only qualified candidates are selected.
1. Preliminary Examination
The first stage is a single paper of 100 objective-type questions, carrying 100 marks. The duration is 1 hour. The questions test general aptitude, reasoning, current affairs, and basic knowledge relevant to the posts. The exam is conducted in both Marathi and English. Only candidates who qualify the prelims are eligible for the mains.
2. Physical Test (Only for PSI)
Candidates applying for the Sub-Inspector of Police must undergo a physical test. The physical test is qualifying in nature and carries 100 marks. Only those who clear this test can proceed to the next stage for the PSI post.
3. Mains Examination
The mains exam consists of two papers and both papers are objective-type and test in-depth knowledge, language skills, and subject expertise. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks is applicable for each wrong answer.
Paper I: Marathi (100 marks, 50 questions), English (60 marks, 30 questions), and General Knowledge (40 marks, 20 questions). Duration: 1 hour.

4. Interview/Document Verification
