PCS Full Form : Provincial Civil Service is the "full form of PCS." The PCS is a state-level civil service made up of Group A and Group B of the administrative branch of the Government of State Service. The state civil service employs employees selected through an exam.

- A bachelor's degree from an authorized institution or an equivalent qualification is required of PCS candidates.
- The minimum age requirement for candidates is 21, while the maximum age limit is 40.

Posts like District Commandant Home Guards, Excise Inspector, Assistant Conservator of Forests, Range Forest Officer, Superintendent of Jail, and Dy. The Superintendent of Police requires physical fitness.
