PCS Full Form : Provincial Civil Service is the "full form of PCS." The PCS is a state-level civil service made up of Group A and Group B of the administrative branch of the Government of State Service. The state civil service employs employees selected through an exam.

The commission responsible for this is the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). The PCS notification is titled Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination.

The Union Public Service Commission is the central government organization in India that is in charge of conducting exams for recruiting civil servants for different national administrative posts. It's important to remember that the UPSC framework designates the civil services of states other than Uttar Pradesh as "PCS."
