Documents and other items needed by candidates for the IELTS test
The only form of identification recognized at the test center is a current, valid passport. When you arrive at the IELTS test center, your identification will be verified. It is required for the entire test, including the listening/reading, writing, and speaking sections. It is also the only form of identification permitted throughout the registration procedure for IELTS test applicants. The identification document you provided for the IELTS Exam 2024 should be the same one you provided when you applied for the test. Remember to take a color photocopy of the front and back pages of your passport.
