• A Master’s degree in a relevant subject.
• A degree/diploma in Education.
• For candidates with a PhD degree in a relevant subject, a degree/diploma in education is not required.
• B.Ed. or B.T. degree must be obtained within three years of joining as a teacher.

• M.E/M.Tech degree from any recognized institution. OR
• M.Sc/MCA plus one-year teaching experience. OR
• B.E/B.Tech degree along with a postgraduate diploma in computer application and one-year teaching experience.

• Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) certificate or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45% marks from a recognized Board/ University.
• Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education program of a duration of not less than two years or BEd (Nursery) from a recognized Institute.
• Must have passed Hindi at the secondary level.

• Scored at least 50% of their overall marks in the 10+2 grade from a recognized board.
• Enrolled in a certificate or degree program, such as B.El.Ed., elementary education diploma, education diploma, or special education diploma, with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% from an accredited institution.
• The candidate must have passed the CBSE-conducted CTET Exam.
