EMRS Teacher Age Relaxation Policy

• The candidate should not be more than 55 years old as of 31 July 2023 after considering all the relaxation/concessions in any given case.
• Ex-servicemen will get age relaxation as per Govt. of India Rules.
• Ex-servicemen who have served in the Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force) for at least six months continuously will be allowed to deduct the period of such service from their actual age and if the resulting age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post by more than three years, they will be considered to have met the age limit requirement.
• All of the concessions listed above will be concurrent, meaning that if a person is eligible for more than one concession, only the one with the highest permissible limit will be granted.

Important Pointers on EMRS Teacher Age Relaxation Policy

• Age Limit: The age limit for teaching posts is determined as of July 31, 2023, and for non-teaching posts as of January 1, 2023.
• STET/CTET-Paper-II Certificate: Candidates applying for the position of TGTs must possess a valid STET/CTET-Paper-II certificate.
• Uploading Certificates: Applicants need to upload the necessary certificates, as applicable, along with the Application Form.
• Awaiting Results: If a candidate is currently appearing in an exam or has appeared in an exam but is awaiting the final result, they should present the certificate/Scorecard during the interview.
• Disqualification: If any of the following is detected at any stage of the recruitment process, including after recruitment or joining, the applicant will be disqualified, prosecuted, and barred from all appointments in EMRS, NESTS. Their application/appointment will be rejected immediately if they:
  1. Provide incorrect information or submit false documents.
  2. Suppress relevant information.
  3. Engage in unfair means during the Recruitment process.
  4. Commit impersonation.
  5. Create disturbance affecting the smooth conduct of the computer-based test at the test center/venue.
  6. Upload a non-human or irrelevant photograph.
• Multiple Applications: If a candidate submits multiple/duplicate applications for the same post, only the latest application will be considered for further evaluation.

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Reservation Policy

• Income: The applicant's family's gross annual income must be below Rs. 8 lakh (Rupees Eight Lakh). Income from all sources, including salary, agriculture, business, and profession, must be considered for the financial year preceding the year of application.
• Property Holdings: Applicants whose families own or possess any of the following properties will not be considered EWS, regardless of their family income: a. 5 acres of agricultural land or more b. A residential flat of 1000 square feet or more c. A residential plot of 100 square yards or more in notified municipalities d. A residential plot of 200 square yards or more in areas other than notified municipalities
• Family Definition: For the purposes of determining EWS status, the property held by a family in different locations or cities will be combined. The term "family" includes the applicant, their parents, siblings under the age of 18, spouse, and children under the age of 18.
• Candidates applying for vacancies reserved for EWS must possess a valid Income and Asset Certificate as of the closing date of the online application for this advertisement. Failure to provide a valid certificate will result in the candidate's claim for reserved status under EWS being denied, and their application will be considered under General (UR) vacancies only.
