KTET Exam Pattern 2025
Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) follows a structured exam pattern designed to assess the knowledge and teaching aptitude of candidates for different school levels. The exam is divided into four categories, each corresponding to a specific teaching level (Lower Primary, Upper Primary, High School, and Language/Specialist Teachers). All papers are conducted in offline mode (pen and paper), with each paper lasting 2.5 hours (150 minutes).
Each KTET paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark. There is no negative marking. The subjects and distribution of questions vary by category, but all papers include sections on Child Development & Pedagogy, language proficiency, and subject-specific content.
