UPTET Educational Qualification

  • Graduation from a UGC-recognized university and a two-year D.El.Ed (BTC) (final year appearing or passed).

  • Intermediate (10+2) with at least 50% marks and a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

  • Graduation and Moallim-e-Urdu degree (for Urdu teachers, if obtained before 11.08.1997).

Educational Qualification for Paper 2 (Classes 6–8)

  • Graduation and a two-year D.El.Ed (BTC).

  • Graduation or Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed or B.Ed Special Education degree.

  • Intermediate with at least 50% marks and a four-year B.A.B.Ed, B.Sc.B.Ed, or B.El.Ed.

  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and B.Ed as per NCTE regulations.
