UTET Educational Qualifications
To become a Primary Teacher (Classes 1 to 5) the candidate must achieve at least 50% in Senior Secondary and have a 2 year D.El.Ed/BTC or equivalent qualification. To become an Upper Primary Teacher (Classes 6 to 8) the candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% and possess a Diploma in Teaching, Bachelor of Education, or equivalent qualification. UTET Age Limit
There is no upper age limit in the UTET exam. Candidates of all ages who satisfy the educational and professional criteria are allowed to apply for the exam ,and there is no limit on the number of sittings allowed.
