Criteria for Declaration of HP SET Result 2024
The HP SET 2024 result is prepared by HPPSC, following the norms set by the University Grants Commission (UGC). To qualify for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor/Lectureship, candidates must meet the UGC criteria:- The declaration of result will comprise the top 6% of the appeared candidates who appear in both papers and secure at least 40% aggregate marks (for candidates belonging to General Category) and at least 35% aggregate marks (for candidates belonging to reserved categories).
- If there is a tie at the last qualifying HP SET Cut Off marks in any given subject, then all candidates who are in tie (scored equal marks) will be considered as qualified, potentially resulting in a higher number of qualified candidates exceeding six percent.
- The qualifying criteria decided by the UGC/Commission are final and binding for all concerned.
