JK SET Application 2024: The JK SET Notification 2024 has been released on June 5, 2024. The last date for submission of the complete online application form through the website www.jujkset.in or www.jammuuniversity.in is July 20, 2024. Candidates should not send the printout of the online application form, fee receipt, or any other documents to the SET office, Jammu. However, a copy must be retained by the candidate for future use.
Candidates must apply for JK SET 2024 in "Online mode" only. The authorities will not accept application forms submitted in any other mode. Each candidate is allowed to submit only one application; multiple applications from the same candidate will not be accepted. While filling out the JK SET Application Form 2024, candidates should carefully and correctly enter all information, including their Name (as stated in their Class 10th Certificate), Date of Birth, Category, Union Territory for which they are applying, Subject for SET, Exam Centre, PG degree, and subjects, among others.JK SET Application Form 2024 Deadline Extended
The University of Jammu has extended the deadline for registration for the Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test (JKSET) 2024. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications by July 20, 2024. The last date to submit the form with a late fee of Rs 600 is July 25, 2024. To register for the exam, candidates can visit the official website at jujkset.in. The application fees are as follows: Rs 1,200 for general category candidates, Rs 900 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Rs 700 for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Transgender, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) with 40% disability. The JKSET application correction window will be open from July 29 to 31. The JKSET admit card is scheduled to be issued on October 14, 2024. The JKSET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of assistant professor in universities and colleges in the Union Territories of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.

Here are the steps to fill the JK SET (Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test) online form for 2024: Step 1 : Visit the University of Jammu/JKSET Website. (If accessing UOJ website, click on the JKSET/LASET link). Click on “How to Apply” and carefully read important instructions for online submission of forms before proceeding to “Apply Now”.
Step 2:
Select the UT (J&K or Ladakh) and Category for your application. Pay the Examination Fee online using Credit card/Debit card/Net banking, and print the Fee Receipt. Remember the Transaction Reference Number for registering to fill the application form.
Step 3:
Use the Transaction Reference Number to register yourself. Upload a recent Photograph and Signature. Ensure the photograph (in jpg/jpeg format, size less than 50Kb) shows 80% of your face (without mask) including ears against a white background. Upload a scanned copy of your signature in jpg/jpeg format (file size: less than 50kb).
Step 4:
Complete the Online Application Form with all correct information. Fill in all required fields with relevant and accurate details. Clearly mention your category - UNRESERVED/SC/ST (i & ii)/EWS-Gen/RBA/PwD/OBC/ALC-IB, etc.
Step 5:
Choose the examination Centre and subjects for JKSET/LASET correctly. Note down the system-generated Application Number for future reference.
Step 6:
Preview the Form displayed on the screen. If details are correct, click on Submit. If there are any variations, make corrections before submitting.
Step 7:
Print the JK SET Online Form 2024 and keep it for future reference.

Candidates can edit the particulars entered in the application form before final submission. However, after the final submission, corrections in specific fields can only be made during the correction window. No communication regarding this matter will be entertained after the correction window closes. The online editing/correction option will be available for JK SET Application Form 2024 from 29 July 2024 to 31 July 2024.
