Procedure and Criteria for Declaration of JK SET Cut Off 2024
The selection process for Eligibility for Assistant Professor through the JK SET/LASET involves the following steps: Step I: Determining the Number of Qualified Candidates: The total number of candidates to be qualified (total slots) for Eligibility for Assistant Professor shall be equal to 6% of the candidates who appeared in both the papers of JKSET/LASET. Step II: Allocation of Slots: The total slots shall be allocated to different categories as per the reservation policy of the respective Union Territories (UT) of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Step III: Minimum Marks Requirement: To be considered eligible for the post of Assistant Professor, candidates must meet the following criteria:- Unreserved/EWS-General Category Candidates : Must have appeared in both papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both papers taken together.
- Other Reserved Categories : Must have appeared in both papers and secured at least 35% aggregate marks in both papers taken together.
