71st National Film Awards 2025: The President of India, Smt. Draupadi Murmu recently presented the 71st National Film Awards at New Delhi. The awards were presented for various categories of the film industry. Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey shared Best Actor for Jawan and 12th Fail, respectively. Rani Mukerji won Best Actress for Mrs Chatterjee Vs. Norway.

71st National Film Awards 2025
The National Film Awards are presented every year in various categories and different languages. It was presented for the first time in 1954 as the State Awards. Back then, only the best films in different languages were awarded. Actors and technicians began to be recognised in 1967.

Dada Saheb Phalke Award Winner 2025
The Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2025 was presented to the very popular Malayalam Actor Shri Mohanlal. He is often referred to as “The Complete Actor” for his immense contribution to the Malayalam cinema. He has also worked in several Hindi movies over the years.
His popular movies include the likes of Kireedam, Bharatham, Vanaprastha, Drishyam, and more. Mohanlal has portrayed a wide range of roles in different films with great versatility.
