UPSC eligibility criteria

August 1st
of the respective year. This means that if a candidate is applying for the USPC 2025 exam then her or his age will be calculated as of 1st August 2025. Therefore, if he is more than 32 years old in the general category on August 1st, he will not be eligible to fill out the application form.

10 years of age relaxation in their respective categories. This means not more than
42 years for General, 45 years for OBC, and 47 years for SC/ST candidate.
