What After UPSC IFS Mains Result 2024?

1. Interview/Personality Test : Candidates who have qualified the IFS Mains Examination will be called for the next stage of the selection process: the Personality Test (Interview). The interview stage assesses the candidate's overall personality, general knowledge, communication skills, and suitability for a career in the Indian Forest Service.
2. Final Selection and Medical Examination : After the Interview, the UPSC will release the final merit list based on the combined performance in the Mains Examination and Personality Test .
3. Training : The final selected candidates will undergo training at the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA) in Dehradun. The training involves physical fitness tests, academic sessions, and field training for the roles and responsibilities they will undertake in various Forest Services.
